We are in the process of launching our BEHER GREEN organic production project. For them we are applying production systems and techniques that minimize the environmental impact, respecting the richness of the environment for a sustainable rural development and making a responsible use of energy and natural resources.

VIRONMENTALLY
FRIENDLY

Our slower production method means less environmental impact, favouring organic agricultural production by providing quality organic material to fertilise crops.

The use of resources is local, with no application of chemical synthesis products, any fertilizers or unnatural fertilizers. Our pigs are fed on organic grasses, acorns and feeds free of synthetic amino acids and antibiotics that could harm the environment. It is a 100% natural feed.

Recycled waste and by-products of natural origin are used to grow organic feeds, which provide nutrients to the soil.

SUSTAINABLE
PRODUCTION

Organic pigs are fed with feed and raw materials of natural origin, preserving the fertility of the soil and guaranteeing lasting, economically viable and socially fair agricultural development.

The consumption of organic meat helps small farms, generally family-run, to develop their activity, generating employment in the territory where it is developed, which allows the maintenance of rural populations and the conservation of the territory.

Furthermore, the fact that our breed is 100% native Iberian, long-lived and without genetic interventions, makes us have stronger animals that are more resistant to disease.

Bernardo Hernández S.L. ha sido beneficiaria del Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional cuyo objetivo es mejorar la competitividad de las Pymes y gracias al cual ha podido acometer dos actuaciones de gran calado: 1) Digitalización del proceso de transformación dentro del plan estratégico de Industria 4.0, con el objetivo de mejorar la trazabilidad de las materias primas y los productos elaborados. 2) Elaboración del Plan de Marketing Digital Internacional con el objetivo de mejorar el posicionamiento online en mercados exteriores. Para todo ello ha contado con el apoyo del Programa XPANDE DIGITAL de la Cámara de Comercio de Salamanca “Una manera de hacer Europa” y el Programa Incorporación de las TIC en las Pymes desarrollado por el Instituto para la Competitividad Empresarial de la Junta de Castilla y León.
